1. Purpose

These terms of use ("Terms") govern access to and use of the OST Challenge submission platform (the "Service"), available from the competition's website. They are distinct from the competition rules, which govern eligibility, categories, the calendar, and prizes, and which every candidate must also accept separately.

Access to the Service is reserved for duly registered candidates, jury members, and organizing staff.

2. Acceptance of these Terms

Access to the Service is conditional upon your express acceptance of these Terms and of our privacy policy. This acceptance is collected on your first login, through a dedicated prompt, and cannot be bypassed.

Should these Terms be substantially amended, you will be asked to consent again on your next login.

3. Access to the Service and user account

Login to the Service happens exclusively through a one-time link sent by email: no password is used. You are responsible for keeping this link and the email address linked to your account confidential, and agree to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

You agree to provide accurate information when registering and to keep it up to date from your "My account" area.

4. Use of the Service

You agree to use the Service in line with its intended purpose: submitting and tracking entries, jury evaluation, and competition administration. In particular, the following are prohibited:

• any attempt to circumvent the anonymization the platform applies to submissions;
• any attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data or accounts;
• uploading files whose content is unlawful, infringes third-party rights, or does not comply with the competition rules;
• any action intended to disrupt, overload, or compromise the security of the Service.

Any breach may result in the suspension or deletion of your account, and where applicable your disqualification from the competition, without prejudice to any further legal action.

5. Content you submit

You warrant that you are the author or rights holder of the works and files you upload (audio demo, score), and that they do not infringe any third-party rights (copyright, image rights, etc.). The terms under which OST Challenge may use your submission (evaluation, broadcast, promotion) are set out in the competition rules, which you accept upon registration.

6. Intellectual property of the Service

The Service itself (interface, code, design, trademarks, and logos) is the exclusive property of OST Challenge. Any unauthorized reproduction or use is prohibited — see our legal notice for details.

7. Availability and liability

OST Challenge takes reasonable steps to ensure the Service is available and secure, without guaranteeing uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service may be temporarily suspended for maintenance, including during submission periods, without this incurring OST Challenge's liability, provided the announced competition calendar is respected.

OST Challenge cannot be held liable for damage resulting from improper use of the Service or from an event beyond its reasonable control.

8. Changes to these Terms

OST Challenge may amend these Terms at any time, in particular to reflect changes to the Service or applicable regulations. Any substantial change will be communicated to you and will require renewed acceptance on your next login.

9. Suspension and termination

OST Challenge may suspend or delete an account in the event of a breach of these Terms, without notice in the case of a serious breach. You may request the deletion of your account at any time by contacting us.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or performance falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts where OST Challenge's registered office is located.
